Our cottage is located in a region that is particularly rich in terms of leisure activities, tourism, and heritage.

Tournai, the nearest city, is a city with a pretty Grand Place full of terraces, with a Cathedral and a belfry listed by UNESCO and full of museums.

Around and starting from the gîte, there are numerous walks and hikes, both on foot and by bike. Many of these routes are marked. Our gîte is located 50 meters from the Scheldt River, so pleasant, short walks along the water near the gîte are also possible. Nearby is also Mont Saint-Aubert, offering lovely rural and forest walks.

Further afield, Bruges and Ghent are 30 minutes away. Brussels is 1 hour away, and Lille is 15 minutes away.

Within 30 minutes you also have the large Pairi Daiza animal park, a must-see, it's the most beautiful in Europe.
